Apple has done it again.
Today Apple made an announcement with Tim Cook the CEO leading the way. Tim announced the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Both of these goes on sales on apple.com on Friday for preorder. The new models look amazing and both have larger screens. These new iPhones combine health and fitness monitoring, so Apples iPhone is jumping into the health care space.
Take a look at this super interesting video Apple put out showing there new health and fitness monitoring in action –
The existing models the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c aren’t going anywhere, they are here to stay, but the prices of these models have changed. You can get an iPhone 5c for free now and an iPhone 5s for $99 dollars with a carrier plan.
Curves + Aluminium Unibody
Both new iPhone 6’s have soft angles, a more rounded, unibody anodized aluminium chassis available in silver, gold or space gray. The Apple logo on the back will be in stainless steel. The new chassis is a step forward in durability, so when you are doing rounds at your practice and drop your phone, this phone looks like it can take a drop somewhat better then the older front and back Glass iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s. If you look close at the image below there is also a an evolution with Apple moving the power button to the side to make it easier to reach.
Should doctors by the iPhone 6?
The simplest way to answer this question is, do you want a larger screen? Do you want a high quality camera? Do you want a faster processor in your phone? Do you need more space on your phone? If you answer yes to any or some of these questions, I would say upgrade! Apple event mentioned the battery life on the new iPhone 6 is better.
The iPhone 6 is by far the best phone on the market I have seen and I am for sure going to get one.
