New Feature: EHR/EMR Mobile App Gains Timeline Feature

Viewing a Patient’s Timeline in your Mobile EHR

In the drchrono EHR/EMR mobile application, viewing your patient history is about to become easier. In past editions of the EHR/EMR mobile app, the Face Sheet and your patient’s clinical note history were the primary ways of accessing your patient’s history. Now, the Timeline feature has been implemented as a supplement to the Face Sheet feature to provide you an easy chronological timeline for all events your patient has encountered.

The Timeline feature provides a chronological snapshot for the following events:

  • Clinical Notes
  • Photos
  • Videos
  • Phone Logs
  • Referrals
  • Consent Forms
  • Conditions
  • Medications
  • Allergies
  • Labs

With the filtering function on Timeline, you can easily selectively search for any combination of these events for any date range. When Timeline is released, you can find it on every patient’s navigation menu as ‘Face Sheet & Timeline’. There, you will be able to switch between the Face Sheet and Timeline to efficiently understand your patient’s history.

The Timeline feature will be available in version 10.0.54 of the drchrono EHR/EMR mobile application Tuesday, January 31, 2017. There are no restrictions for usage of this feature and is available to users of all drchrono plan types for both the iPad and iPhone apps.
