Some states require signature lines to be printed on your eRx, so we’ve added it in! Now, if you print your eRx, you will see a “Substitution permitted” signature line and a “Dispense as written” line. We hope this makes it even easier to e-prescribe through drchrono! We’ve made a simple but time saving change for your practice group! You can now select which doctor’s schedule’s you want to see on the schedule page. On the left of the Schedule, you’ll see an option to Select All of the doctors, Select None of the doctors, or select doctors individually. We hope this helps your office’s workflow! We can now accept third party lab results through fax, directly to the message center. Please let us know your lab name, and we can set up a personal line for your lab! Once the fax line is purchased, the doctor can give the fax number to that lab. That lab should then send all fax results to that number, and they will come into the message center as “Incoming Labs” and “Incoming Messages”, as seen below. […]

Some may say that Google Glass’s future could be bleak, but the eyewear has a future in health care information technology with it’s support of wearable health apps, specifically electronic health records (EHR). Companies including drchrono and iPatientCare have developed their EHR apps for Google Glass to allow doctors to recite data into their electronic health records and view patient’s records at the corner of their eye.
